The RBP: Season 7
The Right Brain Project is proud to announce its 2012 season of lust, greed, and wrath. More information to come...
Donations: How we survive
The Right Brain Project relies completely on its patrons to continue producing the work we do. Every penny we receive goes right back into the company to pay rent, utilities, props, sets, and costumes. Our space is small, and we strive to be thrifty and crafty in our productions, but expenses still abound. The Right Brain Project believes that art should be available for all and not limited to those with money to spare. But we also can't survive without your donations. Instead of charging ticket prices, the RBP asks you to consider what you would pay for any other production in the city of Chicago and make a donation at the door. We will supply envelopes to all patrons so that they can discretely contribute what they feel comfortable giving. For each performance, we supply information detailing our specific costs and expenses, as well as the money we've brought in for the production thus far. With this model, you'll know that your donations are contributing to breaking even on each production. With your help and support, the RBP will continue producing intimate, important theatre in Chicago.
